Client - White Noise (Sleep Education Coach)

The sound of rain, humming of the air conditioner and tv static are all examples of white noise, which are sleep facilitators. Research says that listening to white noise helps increase the ability to sleep soundly and deeply. This was exactly where the name White Noise came from. 

 

Founded by Vishal Dasani, White Noise focuses on providing education about sleep and coaching programs that help their clients simply sleep better.

As one of the pioneers of sleep programs in Indonesia, the branding behind White Noise needed to be prominent. We decided against using literal sleep tools as part of their brand (no pillows, no moon and star icons) as that would be considered conventional and arguably predictable. In light to that, we came up with an icon that represents transformation. Since the aim of the program is to transform one’s sleep quality, we highlighted that in White Noise’s icon.

The founder simply loved our proposed colour scheme, primarily black and white, which represents polar opposites, much like day and night.

Fun fact: our team came up with the name White Noise! We were also inspired by the founder’s voice who, we swear, is soothing enough to calm us down!
