Client - Vuvale (Fijians Gathering Event)
Every brand has a story. This is Vuvale’s. The client is a Fijian based in Kuala Lumpur, who wanted a logo to celebrate a gathering of Fijians living in Malaysia. The attendees were all Fijians who couldn't go home due to the global pandemic.
The 'pin' is known worldwide for 'location'. Home, to the client, is where the family is, whichever part of the world he is in. As long as he has his family with him, he's home.
For the Fijians based in Malaysia, I thought it would be interesting to combine the element of 'location' with the hibiscus and the turtle, what Fiji is famous for, and two things that remind them of home.
The brief for this logo was straightforward - “It HAS to look good on The Rock!"
Why The Rock?

- A family man
- The client is a diehard fan
