Friendly Coffee Company is a coffee roastery based in San Fransisco, California. There is something profoundly gratifying and deeply unifying about sharing a coffee with someone new. Coffee brings people together in a shared space of restorative storytelling.  

The owner, Ammir, had a very interesting story of why he wanted to start selling coffee beans. He knew exactly what he wants his brand to say; coffee that brings people together, coffee as a source of joy, coffee that makes good conversation, that binds kinship. That’s why the name Friendly Coffee Company. “As a respiratory care practitioner, I experienced firsthand the stress of the pandemic. One simple pleasure got us through the worst of Covid—sharing a cup of coffee over friendly conversations. Most were strangers, out-of-state healthcare workers who came to help. But that’s what coffee does. It turns strangers into friends and peril into possibility.” -  Ammir Kaaid, Founder.
